CorData Inc. is proud to announce the launch of a new website for Kennesaw-based geotechnical construction and engineering firm, ABE Enterprises.  The team at ABE approached CorData with a desire for a new website in June of 2009. The main goal of the project was to develop a new website design that reflected their current corporate image and capabilities.  The old website had been in existence for several years with no updates.

CorData's Director of Marketing, Matt Tommey worked in collaboration with the ABE leadership team to design a website that exceeded all their goals and expectations.  The new website has a cutting-edge design that represents their company and the clientele they are wanting to reach.  In addition, the website features pages that highlight their corporate services, equipment and recent projects.

One of the recent geotechnical construction projects completed by ABE Enterprises was with Brasfield & Gore for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.  In order to meet the increasing pediatric demands of the Atlanta area, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta has expanded its Egleston campus to include a multi-level below grade parking deck attached to new interior hospital space.

The close proximity of adjacent roads and existing structures required that the perimeter of the site receive some type of earth retention to separate the grades. Therefore, we constructed a top-down permanent waterproof concrete shoring wall that combined a conventional temporary earth retention wall and a concrete foundation wall. The concrete contains a waterproofing admixture and serves as permanent lagging between steel soldier piles. This type of earth retention provides schedule and cost savings by eliminating the need to build two separate wall systems (one temporary and one permanent).  The shoring wall area totaled approximately 90,000 square feet with a maximum wall height of approximately 75 feet.
